Wannamoisett is one the best course in the state of Rhode Island, It hosted the 1931 PGA Championship and host the Northeast Amateur every year attracted the best young talent in golf. The course is tucked a 100 acres parcel of land in Rumford and was designed by Donald Ross. The course bunkering and greens where redone by Andrew Green.
